In writing about technology for a living, I know how easy it can be to get wrapped up in tech for tech’s sake.

A lot of us have probably been there, tinkering with new gadgets or trying new apps as a diversion unto itself. While there’s nothing wrong with that, I think technology is at its best when it’s teaching us new skills, helping with our hobbies, or encouraging healthier habits out in the real world.
