Let’s look at some deals together

The Advisorator guide to Black Friday

Plus: Amazon’s big Echo, an Apple price comparison tool, and a way to remember where you put stuff

Black Friday is no longer a day, nor even a week, but rather a vibe. It emerges in waves, with indistinct boundaries, until all at once those of us who’ve set up various deal alerts to keep track of such things find our inboxes completely and utterly overwhelmed.

All of which is a flowery way to say that I’ve sorted through everything in service of resurrecting Advisorator’s guide to Black Friday for 2024.

It’s a big list of notable deals across every major tech category, along with some pointers to discourage needless spending. Even though it’s only Tuesday, there’s plenty to peruse already, and I will keep adding to the list as new offers cross my path.

As always, Advisorator’s deals are affiliate fee-free, which means I earn nothing from whatever you might buy and feel no pain if you purchase nothing at all. This is made possible thanks to Advisorator’s paid subscribers, whose support allows me spend hours digging up this info for you all.

Speaking of which, I’m doing a little sale on Advisorator subscriptions as well. Sign up this week to get your first month for $1 (instead of $5) or a whole year for $41 (instead of $50).

A paid subscription gets you the full newsletter each week. I’ll help keep you apprised of important tech news, teach you some new tech tricks, and uncover useful apps that you probably wouldn’t know about otherwise.

You’ll also get access to everything on the Advisorator website, like my just-updated guide to picking a TV and this collection of more than 300 awesome apps. Pick a plan to get started:

Cancellation is extremely easy—there’s a link in every email, or you can just send a reply asking me to unsubscribe you—and I’ll even give you a refund if you forget to cancel or it’s not your thing, no questions asked.

That’s the spiel. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Thanks for reading!

Remember, I’ll be adding to Advisorator’s Black Friday guide periodically as new deals come up, so feel free to check back again later today or throughout the week. If you’re on the hunt for something specific or need some advice, just reply to this email to get in touch.

Otherwise, have an enjoyable Thanksgiving if you’re here in the U.S.

Until next week,
Jared
