Vacation link dump
Hey folks, I’m still doing my best not to work this week as I rest up ahead of the CES trade show the first week of January.
I have, however, arranged a brief list of links to check out in my absence. Just like last time, these are websites and tools that seemed interesting enough to save in my bookmarks, but realistically won’t get around to covering in depth. Give them a try if you’re looking for something to do this week:
- Instafest: Turn your favorite Spotify artists into a music festival poster.
- Futurepedia: A big list of AI tools to check out.
- HazeOver: Dim any Mac windows you’re not actively using.
- Niche Museums: Discover tiny museums near you.
- Anthony Bourdain World Map: An interactive map of everywhere he ate.
- TimeShifter: Make a plan to fend off jetlag while traveling.
- Plan Harmony: Coordinate group trips with calendars, to-do lists, and itineraries.
- Summarize.tech: Generate written summaries of YouTube videos using AI.
- Use the Keyboard: Learn the keyboard shortcuts for all your favorite apps.
- Photo restoration: A free site for restoring and unblurring old images.
- Loot Directory: Find deals on business software subscriptions.
Until next year!
Thanks for reading Advisorator’s Tip of the Week this year! Remember that paid subscribers get a more in-depth advice every week, including a feature column, news roundups, and deals on the best tech products. You can look at the archives to get a sense of what I cover in the full newsletter, or check out the collection of guides I’ve been putting together for paid subscribers.
With that, I’m off. Have a happy new year, and catch you in 2023!
– Jared
