Advisorator’s billing, cancellation, and refund policy

My golden rule with Advisorator memberships is to treat customers the way I’d like to be treated. Here’s what you can expect after subscribing:

  • Easy cancellation: Every weekly newsletter has cancellation instructions and this link to manage your subscription at the bottom. You can also just ask me to cancel your subscription via email, and I’ll take care of it for you.
  • Receipts for every payment: No sneaky subscriptions here. You’ll get a receipt via email for every payment. (Those receipts include a link to cancel as well.)
  • Annual renewal reminders: If you choose an annual subscription, you’ll get a reminder email roughly one month before your next renewal. (You guessed it: Those reminder emails include a cancellation link also.)
  • Trial reminders: I typically don’t offer free trials, but if that changes, you’ll get a reminder email five days before your trial period is over.
  • Cancel anytime: When you cancel, auto-renewal will be turned off, and your subscription will end when your current billing cycle is over. (Yup, that means you can even cancel immediately after signing up and enjoy the full subscription period you just paid for.)
  • Hassle-free refunds: If, despite everything above, you forget to cancel your subscription, or you’re unsatisfied with Advisorator for any reason, just email me and I’ll make it right.

Subscriptions are processed securely with Stripe, an industry-leading payment platform. Stripe does not share your full payment details with me, which means I can only see the last four digits of your card and have no way to bill you outside of Stripe’s secure system. These payments will always appear as “ADVISORATOR.COM” on your billing statements. Got questions? Email me.
