1/2/2024: Vacation link dump

Vacation link dump
Happy New Year, folks! As I mentioned earlier, I’m breaking from the regular newsletter format for one more week before jumping back into things next Tuesday.
In the meantime, it’s time for my customary Vacation Link Dump. As with past versions, this is a list of apps, websites, and other resources that I’ve saved to my bookmarks, but may not get around to covering in any major capacity. I offer them to you as-is:
- ClearThis.Page: A browser extension and bookmarklet that declutters web pages.
- Classic iPod and Game Boy Advance wallpapers for your phone.
- Hotlist: A daily to-do list built into the Mac menu bar.
- Quiche: A highly customizable iPhone web browser.
- Let’s Get Creative: A fun collection of creative time-wasters.
- Gigabrain: Search Reddit for answers and get AI-generated discussion summaries.
- TechURLs: A big, dense list of tech headlines from major news sites.
- Portal: Transform your Mac desktop into a peaceful environment.
- WinToys: A free bloatware removal tool for Windows.
- Glyphy: A weird text generator.
- Checker Plus: A Chrome extension for viewing your Google Calendar with one click.
- After Dark Screensavers: Experience classic screensavers again in your web browser.

Here’s to a happy and healthy 2024, everyone. We’ll be back to the regular newsletter format next week.
