When I’m trying to get some writing done, nothing irks me more than a page full of menu clutter.

I’d much rather start with a blank canvas, which is why Typora has been my go-to writing tool for more than five years now. I estimate that I’ve drafted more than a thousand articles and newsletters in this distraction-free document editor since then, and I have a hard time writing with anything else.
