Last week, Microsoft updated its Edge web browser with a much better way to arrange tabs.

Just click the little box in the top-left corner of the browser, and your tabs will flip from their usual horizontal row into a vertical column on the left side. This layout can fit lots more tabs onto the screen without cutting off page titles, and you can click the little arrow at the top of the list to collapse your tabs into a narrow strip—perfect for when you need reclaim some screen real estate.
