Whatever the case, a lot of the Prime Day deals I&#8217;m used to seeing every year are now popping up at higher prices if they&#8217;re even available at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, I&#8217;ve found some notable discounts anyway. Below are some deals on quality tech products with prices that are actually better than usual. Buying in \u201cexcellent\u201d condition will get you a like-new product for less.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read real reviews:<\/strong>&nbsp;Don\u2019t let sale prices alone be your guide, especially for TVs, soundbars, and other products with endless model options to sift through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rtings.com\/\">RTings<\/a>&nbsp;for home entertainment,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.soundguys.com\/\">Soundguys<\/a>&nbsp;for audio gear, and my pals at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pcworld.com\/\">PCWorld<\/a>&nbsp;for laptop reviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use specific model numbers, such as \u201cOLED65B3PUA\u201d instead of \u201cLG OLED TV.\u201d Especially for laptops, make sure the review matches the specific configuration of what you\u2019re looking to buy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I also like browsing deal pages on sites that link to their own in-depth reviews, like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/wirecutter\/deals\/\">Wirecutter<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.engadget.com\/deals\/\">Engadget<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If no reviews exist, consider that a red flag.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Resist FOMO:<\/strong>&nbsp;A lot of the deals that emerge around Prime Day wind up coming back later in the year.
